  Thomas M. Scott is Managing Member of Campus Acquisitions, LLC, directing the acquisition, due diligence, and financing requirements of Campus Acquisitions. Mr. Scott has over 20 years of real estate finance, accounting, acquisition and asset-management related experience. Previously, Mr. Scott served as Chief Financial Officer for Vornado Realty Trust – Merchandise Mart Division, as Managing Director for CB Richard Ellis, Inc. and as Chief Financial Officer for U.S. Equities Realty, Inc., a Chicago-based real estate development and brokerage firm. Mr. Scott has extensive experience in real estate development, acquisition, disposition and renovation, in a wide range of student-housing/multi-family, commercial, and retail property types. He has coordinated over $1.2 billion of real estate acquisition/disposition transactions during that last 2 years. In addition, he has significant real estate management experience within operational and financial arenas, reporting and analysis experience in the areas of acquisition related to due diligence, as well as extensive financial analysis and property valuation experience. Mr. Scott is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois. |
